How to Edit Inventory
Section titled “How to Edit Inventory”Editing an Inventory record lets you update where stock is stored and how it is monitored—without changing the actual quantity.
info: Financial and Stock Lock You cannot change stock quantities or purchase price from this form.
To adjust live quantities, use Stock Operations for full audit tracking.
Step 1 – Access the Inventory List
Section titled “Step 1 – Access the Inventory List”- From the main sidebar, expand Parts & Supplies.
- Click Inventory.
Locate the inventory row you need to edit.
Step 2 – Open the Edit Form
Section titled “Step 2 – Open the Edit Form”- In the target row, click the More (⋯) icon in the far‑right column.
- Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
The Edit Inventory form opens with current values pre‑filled.
Step 3 – Update Storage Parameters
Section titled “Step 3 – Update Storage Parameters”Update only the fields that require changes.

| Aisle, Row, Bin | Update the exact physical coordinates inside the facility. | No |
| Minimum Level | Adjust the low‑stock alert threshold for this specific storage location. | No |
| Maximum Level | Adjust the maximum capacity threshold to prevent over‑ordering at this location. | No |
Step 4 – Save the Record
Section titled “Step 4 – Save the Record”- Review the updated information.
- Click Submit at the bottom‑right.
The inventory record is updated immediately and all future alerts and reports will use the new parameters.
